ZC Hood Pop out
You can either buy the zc hood with the bump, remove the webbing from the hood where the cam gear cover would hit, remove the cam cover, or shim the engine down a bit on the drivers side.
My recommendation is to get a zc hood or remove the webbing from your stock hood

If you live in CA you can get them for that. The rest of us have to add $100 for shipping. $250 total cost for a hood that is more than lilley all scrached up is no deal to me.

I used washers to lower the motor slightly so that there wouldn't be a clearance issue. The car's been running like that for 2 and a half years now w/o a problem.

yes we know that. I just spent all my money on my engine and don't want to spend another $200 on a hood. I'd sooner go jump on mine to get it to close.
