Alright jsut start like 2 days ago, I went started my car and poof check engine light dont you love wakeing up to one of them before work. so i pull downt he carpet and look at my ecu, it blinks 14 i was like **** big numbers suck. So i bust out the honda book and its my EACV, i was like just great, the wiring in my car is pretty shitty since the guy before when he swaped the Jdm d15b well made it suck. but long story short we replaced the eacv with on we had sitting on a zc motor it fits and what not. so after its on we start it and its does it poor gay idling light comes ona nd still blinks code 14 and runs like ******* ****.

so can any of you give any more ideas on what to do? ia m about to find a new wiring harness and completely redo all the wiring and see if that helps? so please leave some feed back

first of all how's the wiring to/from the EACV. a code means that theres a open/short/ground in the curct. not that the componet is bad.

reset ur ecu then see if it comes back. to do that pull the ECU and HAZARD fuse in the main fuse box or take neg off battery

 

Yea we read to reset the ecu and still came back...the entire wiring is just **** thats why i am looking for a new wiring harness. to re do the entire thing since its
needs it anyway

 

does the car run half decent and just idle like ****, or does it run like **** too?
