the chances of those going out are slim and none, your master cylinder will fail way before you booster will fail

if ur losing fluid, then there's a leak in the lines, else ur master cylnder is leaking internally..
had this problem on my teg last week.. turned out my hard lines going to the rear brakes rusted through and need to be replaced.. i ended up redoing the lines from the firewall back to the rear brakes..

Okay. I changed the master cylinder, took it from my old integra which was working well no problems.
The pedal doesn't sink in anymore, but NOW the pedal is only hard when it is an inch from the floor.

Just had the same thing happen to me.
Not all Mater Cylinders are the same. Take a measurement of the hole in the center of the master cylinder, for depth. There was a 1/2 inch difference between the two I had. From the outside they looked exactly the same. Either adjust your pedal down under the dash where the clip mounts the brakes to the pedal or make a shim to go down in the hole to take up the space.
