Default ITR Question

I've been searching for a few hours now and I'm not sure on a garunteed best route for my problem, I'm not new to the honda game but I just picked up a 98 ITR and the car has a test pipe on it and Buddy club spec III cat-back, naturally its throwing a cel cause of the secondary o2 sensor, problem is I dont have the sensor anymore cause the previous owner just cut the wires and taped them back up so I'm wondering what my best route is here I know if I had the sensor I would just do the foil wrapper thing and try that but I dont have the sensor, so these are the options I've gathered so far wich would you do. . .

1. buy new secondary sensor and re-wire
2. buy jdm ITR ecu of same year (doesnt look for secondary o2 sensor clarify this please someone)
3. buy simulator from http://www.defconracing.com or something like that problem with this is the heater signal wont exsist I emailed defcon for clarification on this to see if I even need the sensor. . . no solid answer "I think it would fix your problem" :defcon. . .
so any help much appreciated. . .

Thanks

Buy an OBD2-1 harness, and chip a P28/P72 OBD1 ECU and get 'er tuned.

If you put an O2 on it it will still throw a code with the test pipe! You need a cat (functioning) to not throw a code.

I have a 98 Spec JDM ITR and there is NO second O2. So the cheapest BEST alternative IMO is ge a 96-98 JDM ITR ECU! Don't run a chipped ecu!

I took the cat off my car and got a CE light. Got a o2 sim from kteller.com and its been working fine for the past 400 miles.

Instructions say you can remove the o2 sensor if you want, just have to wire a 1k resistor across two wires if you want to remove it. Took about 5 minutes to install.

After tuning I'm getting better gas mileage, and have more power. I don't see anything wrong with that...

If you want to run Hondata/Uberdata/Crome/Neptune, or any other tuning software, you must have a chipped ECU.

I very well realize this! However 80% of Honda owners associate a "chipped ecu" as being a P28 chipped to run a DOHC, or a "Mugen" or "Spoon" chip, and it is chip from some f*ck *** from ebay that has no clue that Honda is from Japan and drives a camaro! Yes there are a few and I mean few people that can "chip" an ecu correctly (like Jason "Katman" Kaplan).

NO ONE can tune a P28 to work exactly like a P73 like Honda can!!!!!
