Default Axle not fitting right??

OK i hate making new topics about something b4 but people usually dont like to read so much...anyways long story shorts dohc jdm zc with 88 l3 1020427 tranny, got the 91 si hubs and 91 integra axles...ok driver side now...it LOOKS and FEELS like its not in all the way...when i put the nut on that connects the axle to the hub all the way the axle in the tranny is not in all the way...when i connect the axle in the tranny all the way theres not enough room the you to screw on the nut...right now its between half and half...now i already asked honda-tech a million times if i got the right parts and what not...now my question is, DO I REALLY HAVE THE RIGHT PART LOL and also maybe im not puttin it in all the way or whatever?? did anyone else have this problem please need info asap...thanks

I thought you were supposed to use 88-89 Integra axles with a ZC? I don't know, maybe I'm wrong. Not too familiar with ZC's.

Is the tranny your using a ZC trans? Does it have an intermediate shaft with two equal length axels? Or are you using a stock trans from a DX/Si? Try pulling the axel out, and use a screwdriver to make the C clip on the end that goes into the axels alittle bigger. That is what locks the axel into the differential. Make the clip larger in diameter and get that axel seated all the way. - Darrell
