I've been taking mine out on the days it's above 40, sun shining, and not snowing.

damn, am i the only one who uses it for a daily driver?

now, i don't plan on having it be my DD forever... but for a while she will be... I love EVERY minute i spend in this car.. and i still very low mileage on it so I don't mind driving it daily for a while

My wife daily drives her's but she's got into a habit of riding with me to work (we work together) so it stays in the garage alot of times now. We racked up alot of miles and we havent even had it a year yet...lol.

well, luckily where i live it doesn't snow most winters.....

however, the s2k stays in the garage pretty much every day except for the weekends......hence the reason it only has 15k on the odo.....its a 00'

which is the reason that i constantly contemplate selling it......

i feel that it is great as a third car, but not necessarily a daily driver.....

i cant wait to get a roll bar to track it...... i have done a couple auto x in it......thats where all the fun is at.........

I take it out when the weather and roads are clear, very little in the winter, a day here or there. Or if I just get the urge.

i drive the car as long as the roads are dry. i know there is still salt left on the roads but it won't stick to anything as long as it's dry.

nice, handball kicks ***... so does racquetball.. that's the only thing i miss about living in my apt. as opposed to my house.. no more racquetball court.. and the gym doesn't have one either.. blah.. oh well.. that's why there's basketball.. which is what i chose to do today since it was SOOO damn beautiful in Seattle.

1) When it starts to rain instead of snow
2) After a couple rainfalls and all the road salt is clear.

I just drove mine today here in CT, got a little snow on my baby, but she can handle it..

I finally have four speakers ---- makes driving that car so much better, either listen to the engine, or rock to the tunes now!!

Just bought a lucid rear speaker harness, 67 shipped, for the 00-01 models.

I used the factory 6 1/2s from the doors in the rear panels, and I bought Pioneer replacements for the doors.. It's awesome, how loud and fairly decent the sound quality and bass is........

It's by NO Means any sort of stellar, top of the line, yada yada, if your looking for that, don't listen to me. If you wanna jam to some tunes at any speed with or without the top down, then do it yourself.

My total cost, 179.00 and several hours of my time, well worth it IMO.

Did exactly as I was planning with my old speakers. Getting the lucid panels and putting the stock speakers in there.

Oh and on topic. My car is driven year round. It's seen its fair share of snow.

You'll need the harness, yes, but I did the panels myself, with a little help from my brother, he has a saber saw which made cutting the panels a 10 minute job...

There is a very limited clearance, when you remove the panels you'll see what I mean, but so I've read, others have fit much larger 6 1/2 speakers in there with no cutting of metal...
