When you say tranny fluid that mean auto trans fluid.
Tranny fluid is usually refereed as auto-tranny fluid. Now Honda MTF is very good.
A lot of dealers use 5w-30 motor oil in theirs for regular services, They however have to use Honda MTF if a warranty repair is made on a transmission. Go figure.
Although some have tried and like GM, General MOtors Synchromesh fluid.
