Default civic type r pistons in ls vtec

I did a search and couldn't find anything but someone was telling me if you put civic type r pistons in a ls vtec it gives it a **** load more horses. can anyone back that up? thanks

compression is way to high for a daily driver, stick with a set of p30's or itr pistons, good luck with your quest for "a shitload more power"
