mini me idling to high !!!!
Ok.... I have all the vacuum lines and stuff hooked up right but it is idling at about 2500.....to me it sounds like a vacuum leak or the butterfly isnt shut all the way. I've checked both of these and neither seem to be the culpret.... Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
Thanks,

just try pulling on the butterfly to make sure its all the way closed, have u tried turning the idle down with the idle screw? also does the idle stay high even when fully warmed up ?

, but yah clean you IACV or EACV, should be IACV but truthfully no real difference. Is your map on the TB or is it connected to the stock one via vacuum line to IM, if so i think that has to be changed. Check the idle adjustment screw, also in the TB if the Butterfly valve is closed all the way you will see a hole facing by the IACV "can see when you take off the intake arm" if you cover that when you put your finger on it. If it has suction that means you have a vacuum leak...Spray brake cleaner or carb choke all over your IM and TB (don't worry it doesn't hurt it), and if there is a vacuum leak, the idle will drop. Use that method then just plug it up. Also is your TPS hooked up right? Also see maybe your accelerator cable is too tight...Damn thats about it

check air flow screw on top of the throttle body. turn clockwise to turn it close. sometimes when its to loose. it will open while your driving.
