For all the cars that are trapping 135-155 mph what rpm are you crossing the line and are you remaining in 4th gear through the finish. I know that the B16 tranny and GSR tranny will be different, and also tire size will also effect this. Please post your results. I think most of the SFWD/Turbo 4 cars are running a 25" tire.

For the cars that rev 4th out to 9500-10k are you only going that high in 4th gear or do you rev 2nd and 3rd that high as well.

 

you want to be @ your peak power or a bit after while going through the traps(in 4th).

I was at the top of 4th when I trapped 141 (almost redline)

 

so you guys are taking every gear that high? Are you guys also running stock oil pumps?

make sure ya get your rotating assm. balanced. and use a good crank pulley.(fluidampener)

 

Fluidampr and stock pump here. Trapping 141 with a 26" tire around 8900 in 4th ITR tranny.

Arturbo on here sells the fluidampr.

 

My JDM H22 tranny (M2B4) and 25" slicks would put me at 8300 rpm @ 135 and 9550 rpm @ 155. Best I've trapped so far is 143 mph. I take it to 9000 in every gear. Stock oil pump, stock crank pulley with accessory drive cut off (alt only).
