How much should I mill the head?
How much should I mill the head in order to get a 11.5:1 compression? I'll be using the Type-S pistons, which already has 11.0:1 compression, so how much should I mill to get an extra .5 increase in CR? and will it be safe to mill that much? I'll also be adding JUN cams and JUN valvetrain to the mix as well.
Milling your head is not a good idea. It will give you compression but keep in mind you can only deck a head so much.
Go with high compression valves.

I would only mill the head if there is damage to the head and it needs to have milling work. If the head is fine then don't do it. You can only mill the head 1 time, your going to lose your 1 free time. Your not going to gain much at all by milling it anyway.
weld the chambers, it has its own benefits and it bumps compression easily....you may even be able to keep the stock pistons and weld the chambers and get 11.5:1
search for a thread i started about type s pistons and 12:1 compression and read what good old pirate had to say.....

Let's talk about reshaping the combustion chamber to increase/ decreas compression - related to head
