how can i contact honda ??? (swap problems in israel)
hello everybody
i need to contact honda (japan/us/euro) and tell them about there dealer in israel...
the story: " i just wanted to swap"
i called honda technical department and told the "technical guy" that i want to swap engines in my EJ9 civic. (currently i have a D14A4 in my car).
i want to swap to a bigger engine and i dont care if its a D or B or H i just want somthin bigger.
k... so he tells me to go to the honda representative garage/shop.
k.... so i go to to the shop/garage and the mechenich told me that he cant answer me and i need to go to ask the "Ministry of Transport".....
two days after i go to the "Ministry of Transport" and wait in line for like 3 hours and the answer i got from the "inspector" was... you need to ask honda's permission\approval.
ok.... i called honda tech dept again and the "technical guy" said... i'm sorry but honda dont give permissions to change the car's specifications..!WTF....?!?!?!
it's not that i want to change the chassis or make it a RWD or somthing like that... its just a swap to a bigger engine...! whats the big deal?
what can i do... who can help me?

Either you do it yourself or you find someone locally that is familiar with what you want.
Other option is to get it done in the US and send the car to you already done.
We're currently building a 500hp street car tuned and tested for a custom of ours in the Middle East. We're completing the whole setup and shipping the car to their country. if youhave the funds, you can do that as well.
