Default b18c1 in 89 ef hatch

Im now looking around on the internet on hmotorsonline for b18c1 motors. On jpec they say i need b series tranny, b series motor mounts and obd1 conversion. My car is also efi ( dpfi ). What all do i need to put this b18c1 motor in? I know i need a fuel injector resister box but what else do i need? And also where can I find these parts at a cheap price?

Thanks

and can someone show me a link of dpfi to mpfi?

http://www.rywire.com/ for wiring.. cheapest and best.

youll need the dual to multipoint conversion and the obd1 conversion and vtec harness. and some motormounts at http://www.hasport.com or other places. do a search and dont forget to check "search body". that should atleast get you started.

If you'll be using the gsr injectors don't buy a resistor box. The resistor box's job is to create a voltage drop for p&h injectors. The saturated gsr injectors need 12V.

Your motor should come with dizzy and ecu. You'll need an obd conversion harness and a 4 wire o2 sensor.

you have to do a mpfi frist, then use the odb1 conversion harness.

or another route, send out the whole engine harness to hasport or one of the guys on here, and then youll only have to make a few adjustments at the ecu clips, if you think itd be too hard.

basically the obd0-obd1 conversion harness is going to assume and hf or si wiring. so you need to make your car match that, or have it done for you.

get it?

First you convert to MPFI, then instead of the Injector Resistor box you use a injector block off plug like this:

You then need to remove a few plugs from your harness, add wires for crank angle sensor at your distributor, more wires and plugs extended around your I/M And i'm being vauge because your best bet is to leave it to the professionals.
