Default Wondering about these sleeves...

I just purchased some darton sleeves that are just the straight sleeve and no closed deck. I was wondering, with a block gaurd, would I be able to bore them to 84mm?(they are 81 right now)
I would be running a 95mm knife edged crank on a b18a with the sleeves and 84mm 11:1 pistons and eagle I-beam b18a rods N/A
or 84mm 9.6 comp pistons same rods and probly like 10-15 psi of boost

ohh lol sorry too lazy to read sometimes. But yes those sleeves are FINE to bore out. You dont need a block gaurd ( honestly i dont like em my self) . Those are good sleeves

Give darton a call on the bore sizing.Skip the block guard. If you want a closed deck do their m.i.d. sleeves.I believe what you have now are their repair sleeves which aren't really designed for performance use.You could also pm "darton sleeves"as he is on this forum.

sweet, they are the repair sleeves, I bought them because of the good price and the seller said they are good at high rpm's. I really dont want a closed deck, I just thought it would protect better
