Default Quick engine question for you brainers that know your stuff =P

Ok, this summer im going to start a new crx project.
And Im aiming at putting a 350 small block engine in it. And yes it will fit with minor firewall adjustments.
But my question is, how hard is it to get a turbo for those things?? or what would I have to do to get for it and stuff?

might try a domestic forum? im sure you will get more answer to your questions about your options with forced induction, but im sure you will more than likely have to have a custom manifold to start off with.

Turbos for V8s aren't that uncommon, but honestly, I find it hard te belive you'll need a turbo or two with all that in a little CRX...

<---- And I pity the foo that drives that thing if you do!

are you gonna make it rear wheel drive? or front? and i dont think ive ever seen a single turbo 350, but i could be wrong.. since the exhaust exits on the left and right side of the engine.. supercharging might be a little less drama because you just replace the intake manifold with the supercharger. then you still have to figure out how to put the power to the ground, and fit it under the hood, and steer it. as for turbo kits, they are expenisve, because most kits require not one but 2 turbos.. the cheapest i found on ebay was $2k. good luck and post pics if you do it.

put a B-series int the crx and turbo it. It will be cheaper, easyer and there is potential to make about as much HP. If your stuck on you Iron v8, take it elsewhere!

if you actually did get this motor to fit AND WORK, youd have enough problems getting traction as it is, no turbo would be needed AT ALL. that motor is made to pull 3500+ LBS of car and its sqeezing into a sub 2400 pound car...youre going to need huge tires before you need a turbo. and just what do you plan on doing with making it real wheel drive?
