Default Omnipower Coil-sleeves w/ Tokico Illuminas

Hey guys, this is the set-up that I am currently considering buying for my bone-stock 2000 LS Integra. I have heard many good things about the Illuminas and that they are the next best thing in line to the Koni Yellows in terms of performance. Is this true? I can get a good deal on them for about $340 shipped. Now my question is how well will these shocks perform paired to Omnipower coils front 448 lb/in, rear 336 lb/in? Is this spring too stiff for this shock? Please help me out guys i dont know that much about suspension but am really eager to learn.
Thanks

i dont think the illuminas dampen as well as you would need with the omnis. If you are buying the shocks and the omnis why not go with the full coilovers as the cost will likely be about the same 340 and 200 for the coils and 600 for the coilover setup. I have been contemplating the same setup and i think i would be better off with different shocks

you will be fine with the 8k front and 6k rear rates with the illuminas.

i have 8k front and 10k rear from skunk2 coilovers and illuminas on my 92 hatch, your car is heavier so its going to feel much softer.

8k front with illuminas, set either at 3or4 out of 5
10 rear with illuminas, set either at 4or5 out of 5 a little more to be desired from the shock but the car is mainly a street car and the illuminas get from me overall

Oh, well the rates that I got were 8K front and 6 rear which is like 448Lbs front and 336LB rear. So I should be good. I talked to omniman and he said that these dampers should hold up good w/ those rates. Any other suspension gurus want to chime in on what I can expect?

if you decide to run the illuminas dont drop to far and do not run energy suspension bushings as they seem to affect the spring rate by moving with less friction and moment of inertia. The stock are rubber and flex the es rotate.
