Default Catback Exhaust: What kind do you recommend??

I'm also looking into buying a catback exhaust system this week. What kind does every1 have? What has the best performance? I'm looking into the GReddy Evo, if any of you have that, what do you think? How much did you get it for and from where?? Thanks

You may like the Apexi N1. Not too loud/too low.

like someone said earlier, you cant go wrong with a greddy. if i had a 5th gen (im assuming you do) id definately get the greddy evo. i have a 4th gen, and i love my greddy sp. go with the greddy, you'll love the sound, and you wont regret your purchase.

peace

I have the Greddy SP, but it's not for turbo applications. Look into something with 3" piping.

Can't help you out for this week but if you check out https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=115729 you'll see that a 2-1/2" system is in the works.

I've had this exhaust for over 3 years now, and nothing to complain about, ever!

I agree you can't go wrong w/ greddy, I have had the SP for about 5 months and I think it's the best exhaust on the market for three reasons. #1) looks #2) quality-I installed the exhaust on my car so I can say first hand the workmanship that is put into there products and #3) preformance-I could tell a real difference when V-tec kicks in.

I've heard that the N1 isn't that bad on Preludes. I've heard it has a better and less annoying/loud sound than on Civic's and Integra's. I'm interested too, because I kinda want an N1...hmm

Tanabe is nice, and if its too loud for your tastes just silence the biaaatch. When vtec hits with the silencer on it sounds soooo nice.

All of the systems that are mentioned are good quality stuff. GReddy, Tanabe, Apexi, HKS, Kakimoto and Skunk2 ( supposedly manufactured by RSR Japan)
You just have to decide on the style which may or may not be an issue to you and the sound level. The Apexi WS ( used to be called RS Series) Is probably the quitest one I have heard but does not yeild the highest hp gain. It doesn't need a silencer. Some of the other systems have removable silencers which I believe is a great feature which give you a choice on a day to day basis.
Me personally I like it loud but that is just me. I don't get harrassed by the cops around here and my lude is not a daily drivier. I use it for AutoX and road racing.
I have had 3 different exhaust on it from GReddy to Apexi to a custom 2 1/4 " and didn't notice much difference in performance. Good luck.
