Default blox intake manifold question

Just wondering if anyone has purchased and installed one of these. You can get them brand new on ebay for around $170. They look like a good copy of a type-r intake, just don't want to get burned.

It's an identical casting. In fact based on construction I wouldn't be surprised if the same manufacturer makes both of them.

Because AEM doesn't make a Type R intake manifold.

I am assuming you mean OEM, I have never seen a AEM intake manifold. Factory ITR intake manifold will not bolt up to a gsr head without modification.

yes please, would like to hear how well the BLOX perfoms.

it looks IDENTICAL to the Skunk2.. I wouldn't be surprised if they are made by the same person just with 2 labels on them.

I can't say how well it performs because I'm still breaking in my clutch and finding small problems with my bar but I have a write-up on installing it in my signature.

I have an AN-R.com intake manifold which is pretty much the same manifold as Blox. Here is a dyno graph of my car...sorry no baseline run when it was stock. HTH

The intake manifold AN-R sells is a BLOX IM. I bought one from them too. If you go to their web site it's the only IM they sell.
