ok it's a b18c1 it's throwing a code 14 iacv but ive replaced it with a brand new one and still it lopes up and down from 1000 to 1300 ive sprayed the whole motor down with carb cleaner ive screwed the little plastic thing down the fitv checked vacum lines retightend intake bolts and ajusted the idle screw it's driving me crazy any help woulde be great and by the way i already searched ::: forgot to say when i unplug the iacv it idles normal but when i trie to give it gas about 1/4 throttle it does that little rev limter thing but past that it clears up

 

reset the ecu by pulling the back up fuse

 

did that nothing replaced thottle body gasket also ,

 

definately sounds like a vacuum leak somewhere... i know you checked, but just dbl check those vacuum lines

 

but the check engine light is still on

 

I have the same problem and need some help also. I have no CEL, I've reset the ECU upon changing my IAC valve, and checked for vaccuum leaks aso. My car idles from 1500 to 3200rpms when cold and from 1200 to 3700rpms when warmed up. I haven't been able to figure this out.

 

what ecu are you running? i had the same issue and for me it turned out to be that me ecu wanted to idle at 900 and my idle screw was sety for about 750. i just fucked with the 2 screws on the TB until it finnaly slowed the surging and finnaly stopped

 

This is on a bone stock 94 Integra GSR.
