i was looking to get some wider tires for my rims i was woundrign how wide i can go i currently have a 175-70-13 i wanted to knwo if i could go to a 185-60-13 and can i even go as wide as a 195-60-13 any input would b great thanks

 

MH has a 205 60 13 what should work on a 13 x 5 rim. I would hit up John and see what he says.

If it's for dd street use I would suggest 185/60-13. The 195's are a bit wide on a 5" wheel for everyday driving. If it's for auto-x then you can use as wide as your tire mounting guy can stretch over them. Some past nat'l champs have used 225/50-13 or even 235/45-13 on a 5" wheel! I pity the poor tire guy who had to mount those.

 

i have a set of VX wheels...i want to see some pics of the 205/60/13... i know a couple of HTs have them on 13x5
