Default Rims & Tires Suggestion

I have a 90 Civic DX with the basic 13" steel rims that I want to replace for some alloys. I'm a big fan of a chunky thick tire but with no power steering i'm also aware that the wider the wheel the harder to steer and so I'm not sure I want to make it even more difficult to parallel park!

I'm thinking of going for a 14" rim but with the tire, as i said i like a wide tire or at least one closer to the edge of the fender. I'm wondering can the problems that a wider tire cause be offset by a lightweight rim at all or can you use a spacer or some sort to sit the wheel further out??

Also, if anyone has any suggestions for rims as i think i'd be looking for something in white.

Wheel: enkei rpf1 n 15x7 +41 offset
Tire: 195/50/15
add 3 mm spacer

You will get the same track as a 205/50/15 tire but with a smaller stiffer sidewall and lighter tire.

Thanks i'll see if I can pick those up anywhere! So with that setup going from a 175/70/13 wheel won't drastically make it harder to turn the wheel at low speed and also I won't have any fender rubbing/need to roll them?

It should not be much harder.
I've had up to 195/55/15 and felt no difference really.

I'm lowered about 2.5 inches and don't rub.
You can skip the spacer if you rub.
