Default Raced a stock lude the other day, taking a poll on next mod.

ok the other nigth i raced my friends stock lude from a 10mph roll.
i have a apex n1 full exhaust and dc 4-1 header.
it was dead even, i knew it would be close but kinda sucked....
anyways now im taking a poll for another bolt on, im ordering a cai this week, what should i do after that. i need to something not too expernsive, and i still need a reliable car. i was thinking skunk2 im or maybe a pulley setup...
what do you guys think?

intake like you said, a new high flow cat, intake manifold. pulleys i wouldnt waste my time, after all that maybe get a vafc, or chip your ecu and get uberdata if you have any local tuners...

from what ive read, pulleys are junk...

some cams/valvetrain are what youre lookin for...

or id get shocks/springs/wheels and tires...who cares how fast you are in a straight line???

nitrous, best bang for the buck. You'll waste his ***. He'll offer excuses and tell you your cheating but that makes little difference when hes in your rearview.

i would never waiste my time and money on spray. its cheap unreliable hp. too many people i know not only with honda's but z28's wrx's, and supra's have blown their motor with it. my personal oppinion is, if its a GSR get the head p&p, then have the head built with some sk2 valvetrain and cams, then get the sk2 im. it would be pretty bitchin unless u want to go FI later on...

I dont think he meant that the nitrous set ups are unreliabe, but more that they tend to leave the engine unreliable after being used for a while...this also would be my opinion as i know a few people that have had to have their engines rebuilt with worn rings and valve seals and burning serious amounts of oil, after spraying for less than a year. it may have been down to over use but i still believe that it leaves motors in an unreliable state

you need a series of bolts ons in order to work good....
and as far as reliable well you start losing it (if not done correctly) with the more you add to your set up...

obviously you going with a naturaly aspirated set up right..

combine this for now..
skunk 2 intake manifold
fuel presure regulator
310cc injectors
fuel management piggyback (hondata or apexi)
throw that puppy into some serious dyno time and tune
and you will see that it will ask you for more...

next step
port and polish
cams
valvetrain
high comp pistons....

The only pulley worth buying is the CTR N1 pulley.
