I'd be more than willing to bet you do. The only CF trunk I've installed was in a EM1, and there were no interior bits to it at all.
Of course it would depend on what brand you got, but I doubt any have the holders for it.

um, my trunk has a completely seperate rack for the targa top. not attached to the deck lid except for the hinges which shouldn't matter for a cf deck lid anyway.

Oops, guess I shouldn't have opened my big mouth. I didn't know how the holder was attached, but assumed it was on the underside of the trunklid.
