Your stock throttle isn't holding you back much, and if at all only 1-3 whp.

If you had an 84mm bore and more compression with some stage 3 type cams it would probably be a different story.

Oh ... and a RACE header instead of the comptech 4-1.

You have other things to worry about before the TB, like a half *** exhaust setup.

I really would not call that a quality exhaust setup. Personally I would worry about getting a much better exhaust system (if possible) before you worry about a few mm in the throttle body.

He was trying to say nicely that your exhaust sucks and you should get a header with a 2.5" collector and a better exhaust.

You might get maybe 2 HP out of a TB at this stage. If somebody has one that he's offering you at an extremely good price, then fine.

Otherwise, it's not the best return of HP/dollars at your stage of development.

Honestly, a TB is the last thing most of us would do. I have a Spoon TB sitting in a box here, but it's just not a high priority getting it on the car for that couple of horsepower. It's not a bad thing to be doing...it's just one of the last things to do, after you've developed everything else.

I am not a big fan of the intake and exhaust you've chosen, and I'd respectfully suggest that you might see a better horsepower/driveability gain by changing the intake and header/exhaust and retuning.

How does the car dyno now?

Where are you located? I'm not familiar with your location and I was wondering what types of products you are able to easily obtain? Seems like that might explain a bit of your exhaust problem..., or why you have chosen what you currently run.

His profile information is Lublin, Poland and AOL GetLoc says he is close to Katowice, Poland.

So I guess availability and local marketing could have a lot to do with his choices. Good guess.
