I wouldn't buy it unless your stock coil is going and you don't want to spend the price of the OEM coil. Otherwise, I read many people say they do little if anything for you unless your motor is highly modified. I had one on my Accord, I didn't notice anything. I'm not using that motor (F22B1) right now but when I swap it into my hatch I will be switching back to all OEM (cap, wires and internal coil). I've read the OEM ignition can handle quite a bit.

Yeah, the plugs are more important than the wires anyway, it's not like you're going to get 40 hp from your wires if you have crap plugs...
Get some high quality plugs that are MEANT FOR YOUR APPLICATION! I've seen too many people buy 'colder' or 'hotter' or 'multispark' plugs that are more expensive and pretty much useless. Just get high quality plugs, nothing special like 'Sport Compact VTEC Racer Gold' plugs.

I put an external coil and 6A box on my 93 civic, and it did help out the mpg by about 2-3 on the highway. A good idea is to use a cap and rotor from a '93' accord, which has an external coil so that you don't have to buy that cheesy power tower from msd to use the coil. it is a much cleaner install with the accord cap.

on a side note, accords dont like non-copper plugs as much as the OEM kind...the f22 also likes its plugs to be properly gapped....otherwise it gets mad at its owner, and give the owner hella bad gas milege
