I would if i can get the members to help me keep it clean. take a look at these simple rules in the allmotor forum. the members who post there report everything to me. it made my job so much easier. I tried to do it once a long time ago in this forum but got some resistance that i was interrupting friends. Thats not my intention. if i can keep the site somewhat clean...everyone would be happy.

Well I report stuff that I notice.. however the forum is so filled with crap (IMO) that I only read the few threads with interesting titles, people asking for help that don't have many, or any, replies yet and threads people send me links for. So I don't read the threads that need to be reported probably anyways

Sounds about exactly where I am right now.

I was more active a month or so ago but it felt as if I was reporting 2 to 3 posts a day and the **** just kept piling up. It's just not a fun place to be when it becomes a chore.

Also seems that it got worse in here during the month of February while I was away. But it was definitely on that downward spiral since at least early December.

 

Bbasso wonders if Anton is reporting me ??

i know i sold it. thats what makes me modding this forum so special. i truely enjoyed the car...but in the end...just a car. I know how ITR owners feel about owning somethng llimited in production. I know the car meant something to me. so when i see some threads about owners issues etc or how this place is as a community...trust me..i get it. but with that said. I also know whats good for the forum in the long run and just need members to help out some. We all want to tell our stories but either broaden your forum selection and add to the meets forum or GDD forum or just keep this place ITR specific. Every post you can think of making with the exception of posts that don't belong anywhere on Honda-tech...has a place on this site. use them. life will run much smoother.

That being said I don't know that I/we want a forum w/ 100% technical posts. Part of what makes this forum special (compared to the others) is that we're friends and we don't always want to talk tech. I think we should keep the posts ITR related but who doesn't enjoy a good ITR picture post or track weekend review?

 

if you notice i'm trying to give some balance. I understand its a community but its also not a chat room. People have to just understand when something goes..its gone because its for the benefit of this place not getting out of hand. Nothing personal...just me cleaning up. Sometimes i let things go for days...but just because something ran its course and you put 6 posts into that thread...doesn't mean its not allowed to be canned. It just means i simply did some cleaning up. I'm not robbing your wallet...i'm not trying to date your sister...i'm just doing nothing more then moving stuff and getting rig of others...nothing more. Take nothing personal..its just a little typing.
