Well, you can go two ways with coilovers. You can get a separate coilover sleeve and strut, or you can get a combined FULL coilover, which seem to be of much better quality. Tanabe sustec pro, tein, and D2 are just about the best bang for your buck. With tein you will have to go with the basic's or ss's, whatever they are, unless you wanna spend 1200-1500dollars. I would recommmend d2's

That's it!?
You need atleast $700-$1000 for a decent set-up. $500 will probably get you new shocks, but no springs.
Just save up for now.
Or you can just buy some nice springs (with customized spring rates) and ride on the stock shocks.

Word, suspension is not something to go cheap on.

KYB AGX shocks: Ebay New 300
Koni yellow shocks: 400-500
So for one of the cheapest, not generic setups its AT LEAST 500 + installation.

read up on them in the suspension forum.
i just bought these 2 and are waiting them to ship them out to me.
it costed me like 700 or something like that, but i got my coilovers direct from GC which is why it costed me a little more. i got them from GC because i got custom rates.
