His reserve was only set at $2,999.00... for a 2001 Type R, that appearently drives fine and has a clear title? This auction is fucked up! Something is definately up.

I would, but I would fly out, and pay in person so if I didn't like it, oh well. I could deal with a negative feedback if the item wasn't as described.

I confirmed it was real too. I hate ebay for several reasons, but I love it at the same time. I bought 2 cars off ebay recently and they both run perfect and I got them for good deals. Risky yes. Will take precaution on this one. Might fly out and pay in person if the auction stays low.

I find that ebay is a great place to buy cars, but not to sell. Looking for a money maker's if you know what I mean.

 

I have sold three cars on ebay with no problems what so ever.
One was my blue, all original 1976 Datsun 280Z, the other was a 2000 Ford F-350 duely extended cab and the last was a 1964 Crown full size school bus with a cummins diesel.

I made good profit off of all three of them. I guess it's all in how you market your products.

It looks as though this guy with the R is going to seriously lose his *** on the deal.

That's an understatement!

If this is legit, and maan it seems like something is rotten in Denmark.. but if it is, this guy has f'ed up.

Maybe it's a pissed off wife selling it?

 

maybe he was actualy doing a no reserve and that was jsut a crazy scheme of 2999

Its not legit....it never is in situations like this! Something is fuct up.

 

Something is definitely messed up becuase I saw that same type r with the same pics on autotrader 3 months ago. If its the same car then it is a legit Type r in northern Virginia. Unless the person selling it on ebay just copied the pics from another car. When it was on autorader the owner was asking 18,000.
