alright how about this guys... the other day i get a phone call from my two friends telling me they over heard these 3 high school punks that said they found a WHITE type R and they are going to steal it... well i happens to be my R because of the the place that they described.... so last night i get a phone call from my friends saying that these kids called them at 3am in front of my house that they were gonna try to steal my car... however my car is in the garage and they couldnt get to it.....so today when i found all this out i call the cops they tell me theres nothing to they can do being there was no law broken... and on top of that these friends told me there coming back tonight as we speak ... so i am camping out to try to stop these fuckss... the iceing on the cake is this... i know were the kid lives i know his name and were is "chop shop" is because my friends told me about it... however the cops cant do **** about it... they told me therese nothing they can do... even though my friends can show them were there live....

all I know is this... if i get my caR stolen ... i will be very mad...and its sad that these poor ghetoo ***** who cant afford **** have to steall what i work so hard for.... i feel like a sitting duck and that i cant do anything about it .. but put heR in my garage and lock heR up and hope for the best.... if it gets stolen i know i iwill cry cause i love the car... and also the fact that i want to use the car what its built for, for the track.. and i already paid for an event and i want to run that event with my car ... however i dont want to go to jail cause i know if i go to this kids house i will kill him.... i am working with the copsss and hopefully we can nab these fuckss.... the kids name is "CHRIS VALLEY" who is trying to steal it.. his friends have a chop shop on the semeron blvd. area. ... and all i can say is if you live in the central florida area and you know the kid by that name that goes to dr. phillips high .. he is a thief and deserves to die for taking what people love most and work so fuckng hard for... its mind boggling why owning this car is so tuff... people cant just admire it .. they want to steal it and rip such a beautiful machine apart... but its ok ... i know it will never run for them like it did me.. and they will never love it like i did.. i will get justice belive me... all i konw is that i still have heR and i am doing every thing i can to pretect heR... hopefully she wont get stolen.

it sucks knowing you a sitting duck and the cops cant do **** ab0ut it .. all iknow is if the car gets stolen its on motha fuckaa;.;.

Dude when they start to break in call the cops. They can't steal the car that fast and if they start to get really close to getting it take the bat out.

 

You should set them up. Leave the car outside and camp. Have a friend hide outside with a camcorder. Make sure he gets their license plate.

Yes and yes. But unfortunately we all know once we catch someone in our house or in our driveway trying to take our car, we will not sit there at the window, watch, and wait for the police to be too late. I give mad props to anyone that can sit there and watch your baby in the process of aquiring its salvage title.

Camcorder, get them in the act, then beat the **** out of them. If you were close, I would post up a couple blocks away and help you out. Seriously, any WA people out there need help, I'm up for a stake out.

There are other laws that you can use to your benifit and to get these cops into action. Where it sits now, it appears to me that the cops are well aware of the situation. You have provided names, witness accounts, and an area. There is probable cause which could work in your favor.

It is best that you start writing down all relative information; times, dates, people you spoke with at the police department, statements from friends. If your car is in fact stolen, and you can prove that you warned the cops several times in court...well if your lawyer is good enough, you may have possible claim against the city for not taking any action.

Unfortunately, some cops need a little motivation. This is where the State Attourney General's office comes into play. No cop wants to have a negative strike on his record. Because when it comes to promotion time, the lazy asses get passed up. Go State Attourney General !!!

If you need to beat them when they show up, make sure you hit them only with a common household item such as a rolling pin, large pan, baseball bat if you have other base ball equipment in the house... anything else is considered a planned item and could be used against you in court.

Be sure to take all available info like Brandon said and be sure to use a video camera. If they show up and you have the camera make sure you state clearly and loudly that you are there and have the right to protect yourself and your property.

I would call the State Attorney General first thing in the morning and ask them what you can do in this situation, asking can never hurt.

Yeah, but using a rolling pin, large pan, baseball bat would still be considered pre-meditated if you knew they were coming, have a video of it, and names and other info indicating you knew it was happening on said night.

What pisses me off is that YOU have been targeted for a possible crime.

Possible crimes broken by these guys if they steal/attempt to steal:
1)Pre-meditated
2)Conspiring to commit a crime
3)Grand Theft Auto
4)Trespassing
5)Breaking and Entering
6)Driving an improperly registered vehicle (if stolen)
7)Driving an improperly insured vehicle (if stolen)

I'm sure there are several more. Just can't think of any more right now (tired).

I think you should just keep the R in the garage. Or if you have any friends/relatives around the area. Get a beater car and leave the R at someone else's house for a while. Hopefully knowing kids...they'll give up as soon as they discover that the R isn't there anymore.
