Default type r transmission

i have a 2001 gsr...bought it a little while ago and the tranny needs some repair
i can get a brand new type r tranny for 1500 shipped legitimately...no thieves its from a dealership

my question...my car will be turbo about a month after the tranny install

1) it will bolt up with absolutley no modifciations right?
2) some of my friends are saying the gear ratios are much shorter than the gsr tranny...for anyone who has driven both...input please?

1- it's gonna fit fine
2- do it. you'll love it. forced induction or all motor. the short gearing and the limited slip are a HUGE improvement. do it!

After you put the tranny in, Please don't put Type R stickers on the sides of your car

Put it in...ignore your friends; they don't know what they're talking about.

good price for brand new...

will fit perfect no mods needed...

....but the gears are shorter and if your planning on going turbo you may like those longer gears in the GSR tranny. So it may be more worth your while to just buy an lsd to install in your current tranny!
