Default turbo Ls tech?

Wat is the best cam shafts for a Ls turbo 97?
Wat is your opinion on a Phantom Grip Lsd?
Is it true that the Ls trans is good for Turbocharging due to its long gearing?

the crower 402t is good for turbo...the ls tranny will have a higher max speed, and u will be able to boost longer, but with a closer gaered tranny, u get up to speed faster.

when you boost you want as long a gear as possible...all motor aps need to stay in the powerband=short gears. LS is the best. Cams are subjective, what is this for? Dont go cheap on the lsd, youll kick your *** in the end.

phantom grip lsd sucks...Get the real deal, such as Quiafe, kaaz etc...for cams i'd look into crower as Vart stated and last but not least the trans is all up to you but if you want to stay in boost longer and have a higher top speed stay with the ls...

ls trans = I would, (and do) go with a gsr. The longer gears are a myth in most cases. Unless the cars pushin 400+ hp, it's ratio over kill. An SI trans can arguably be more suitable for turbo set up than a gsr even.

most people wouldnt even go with an SI trans for turbo..unless they are at the tracks most of the time or unless the car is a weekend street beast...the type r trans is not even for boost...the gsr trans and the ls is your best bet...but its on your pref and setup on what you want...GL

Gsr tranny 5th gear isnt at that high of speed, so I would stick with the LS trans.

haha, here goes the turbo tranny debate again....

the whole 'ls has longer gears stay in boost more' is just a myth, a shorter gear tranny is always better n/a or turbo. I would say if you have the money, go for the itr tranny, if not then the si tranny (same thing except no lsd)

someone really has to end these myths.
