Default Those of which have a Kirkey seat...

How did you mount it?
Warren said something like his is mounted to the stock sliders...
Jon S, I think you have one as well, how did you mount yours...? Will any "universal seat slider" work? Like ones the sell for sparco seats..?

I finally sold my factory seats, and have the Kirkey Intermedate sitting here, with nothing to mount it in the car...
Thanks guys...

By the way, racerwholesale rocks, order the seat friday, here today! Only 179$ shipped...

Kirkey and IOPort both sell brackets for Kirkey seats. The Kirkey units are like $40/pr and the IOPorts are $30/pr.

I'll check them out, are they adjustable, um, sliders? My car would be a huge b!tch to get in and out of with a non removable wheel, and a solid seat mount..

Edit: I just remember about the seat back brace, so I guess a solid mount will do...

Also - if I am not mistaken you are required to use a quick-release hub with a Kirkey because of what you just said. I would verify that rule but I am 95% sure it is the case.

Corey, I got the aluminum brackets (not the slider) and mounted it directly to the car. Granted you are lower, but that is what I was told to do my some experienced racers. Has to do with some junk about a lower center of gravity and stuff.
Good luck!

I had a custom mount built. Not too expensive, but the key is knowing someone who can do it. Blake at OPM did mine.

You can get creative and mount it to factory slides, but since you need a seat back brace anyway, the slides gain you nothing. Pretty much anything that bolts to the sides of the seat and to the floor of the car will work. Just use serious washers or backing plates under the floor mounts so it doesn't rip out in an ackydink.
IO port also has a nice seat back brace for about $70.

Well, I could have used the aluminum brackets like Jon Starnes did, but being the tall bastard that I am would have meant still hitting the side of my helmet on the cage, so I went to the University Machine Shop and designed my own.. yes, it was a pain in the ***, but the seat is perfect.. now if I could only get a steering wheel hub/adapter that moves the wheel towards the driver about 6 inches I would be set.
