Default My 24-hour work-a-thon....

So i convinced myself finially to do another 24-hour work-a-thon... i dunno why but i just will, i guess mainly so i can say i have no work to do and sit and relax for a day. anyways. i did one of these a few months ago over summer and it turned it out awesome.. i got more work done then i wouldve ever imagined. Im going to post a picture shortly of what my flange shelf looks like right now then post another when im done.. i started working at noon today and will finish at noon tomorrow and only take 2 1-hour breaks during it all. I will garantee and current orders to be shipped tomorrow after i work for 24-hours.... im going to cut all the material i have instock even if it means i have a lot of flanges instock.

20 more hours to go.

heh, good luck with that. I went on a 16 hour weld-a-thon last week, after already being awake for about 18 hours.

At about hour 11, I started seeing joints in space, and tried to weld my kneecap to my elbow, using drool for filler.

Ok heres the current status on my flange shelf.. u cant see it to well but theres lines on all the shelfs and labels for what flange goes in that spot.

As you can see the shelf is rather empty. Well check back on it later tonight.

I used to know a guy that would do the same sort of thing even work for a couple of days straight without sleeping, he swore by it and the amount of work you could do, of course... he was on meth

I'm sure this is what he's trying to fix... too much work, not enough time...

Good luck with your work-a-thon... drink lots of RockStar and you will be fine.

You have to make sure that your browser doesn't have the popup blocker enabled or you won't receive ****. I didn't realize I had the popup blocker on for awhile and then when I finally turned it off I got a bunch of backed up pm's delivered all at once.

somebody send me a pm then. It should tell me it blocked a popup and then give me the option to allow popups from this site.

well the cnc mill is busy cutting some flanges right now so i took some more pics of all the steel i have cut up, or waiting to be cut up.

v here we have about 150 1/2" thick threaded T3 flanges waiting to be made.

v my bandsaw with some steel bars laying on the floor since my shelf is holding as much as it can.

v my cnc mill on the right cutting away.. my shelf o' steel on the left.
