Default new rims and tire question

Ok so I am thinking about getting some 16x7 rota c8's soon for my 94 lude. My question is what would be a good size tire to run for everyday driving. I am looking at either another set of parada spec 2's or the avs es100. Problem is I am not sure what a good size tire would be to use.

Any help is appreciated.

205/50/16 should be roughly the same rolling diameter as the stock 205/55/15, with alot of tire options.

215/45/16 is another option as well.

I just bought the same wheels for my fourth gen I'm going with falken azanis in a 215/45/16 these are just about the same overall diameter and I've heard nothing but good things about the tire. Another option could be 225/45/16 which is even closer in overall diameter however I'm not sure if you will rub or not?

I posted these same pictures in a similar thread a bit ago...

I had 16x7 C8's with 225/45/16's and LOVED it.

in 16", the Mugen MF8s (forged) weigh 12 lbs

the Rota Circuit 8's (cast) weight 16lbs

Greyout,

did you have any trouble balancing your rotas? c8's are very tempting MF8 alternatives but i've heard some horror stories about rotas coming from the factory really off balance.

thanks for the responses guys.

I posted this here because I have a prelude, I didnt want mixed answers from civic, accord and integra owners about this.

Those 16's with the 225 look sick, thanks for posting pics.

A buddy of mine who is a dealer for many parts said rota's are as we know kinda knockoffs but they are very well made for what they are. And for the price real mugens cost i will cry if dirt hit them...let alone if I bent one like my current rims (seattle downtown blows).

Thanks for all the help guys.

there's no way in hell i'm ever going to pay $600 a rim. call me cheap, but unless i drove on marshmallow roads, i couldn't drive with any sort of peace of mind.

Hey, what condition are your old rims in? I have been looking for some sawblades in good condition. I am in Kirkland, let me know.
