Hahaha. Around that one right hander with the rut in the road way some guy dives out of the way!! I seriously wonder how many people die when a rally car over shoots its turn.

His feet were really moving. I bet he can market that fancy foot work as a new dance and make millions.

 

Thanks for the videos! I've been looking all over for some of walter rohl.

I got to ride with the legendary Walter Rohl at an Audi winter driving school last year. While we were approaching two power line towers that were only about 20 feet apart at 110 mph, he put the car in a 360 degree spin and squeezed us through. He drove so effortlessly and with such ease, it's amazing.

Leh's a good driver. He used to own a Supra.

I believe that's from the PCA race where he qualified 1st.

Jesus makes me feel like my left foot is useless after seeing all that left foot braking. I just can't get that down.

Yeah, that left-foot braking was impressive too. Where's gogorallymaster? I wonder if that's what his feet look like?

I guess smooth makes less of a difference when all four tires are making rooster tails of gravel

 

It seemed as though the Audi rally driver was doing as much as or more left foot braking than heel-toeing. He has some really developed hand-foot coordination.

I could only wish I had Leh Keen's heel-toe technique down when I was 22.

 

the first video is off the hook! the music and the way the camera goes to the shifter is cheesie-tight. although it looks like it was speed up somewhat....um it was right?!

Some of the in-car video looks to be sped-up. Hard to say for sure, they really are flying.

Also, the RPM's don't match the speeds in one or two places. *shrug*

Still hella cool.

the motor noises are real... but don't match the car... (I think) (the outside shots seem to be ok but the in-car stuff sounds fishy).

Ok ok, so these guys can drive. But can they do the c-walk?

The guys have amazing footwork. I mean I can get my footwork to look like that, but I doubt I can even come close to being as good.

 

heel and toe for downshifting, and left foot braking for cornering and keeping the turbo spooled I suppose

 

I am going on EBAY right now to see if I can find those 1970's Adidas blue suede racing shoes, those are the ****!! No wonder his footwork is so awesome. The 1970's german shitza **** racing music is what makes that video great. I'll be looking for the soundtrack on ebay as well.
