i have a 00 s2k with only 18g miles.. its mint but i noticed shifting into 3rd or 4th gear it feels lil notchy when shifting?? but the clutch is perfectly fine grabs and everything i have no clue what it could be..i seen the 00-01 have some sorta tsb 54 clutch problem or something .. do u know anything about this.... like when shifting its not grinding or anything its just got a ruff lil feel to it sometmes .. its just not as smooth as 1st to 2nd 4th to 5th, 5hth - 6th ...n so on... im thinking new tranny fluid or something ? i had bought the car of an older gentle men and hes had it serviced threw honda an i have all the papers...car was well maintained.. passes the inspection and everything... i just dont know if this is an anoyying problem with this yr s2k or something i should be worried about ?? any input would be awsome

 

I would start with a fluid change. I have no clue on TSBs

 

replace your tranny and clutch fluid...just cause its 18k miles it does not mean its still good, it wears out over time

 

im gonna do that right away..... does that sound right about curing the problem you think ? what brand of fluids do you guys recc using ??

 

Tranny = i use redline fluid
Clutch = ATE SuperBlue....same as my brake fluid (might as well change that, you're supposed to every 3 yrs)
Differential = LE-607
