First off. Jason, Matt, Dave, Craig kick a whole phucking lot of ***.

Left for sunny FL wed morning in the rental (phucking Enterprise bastards gave me a dam F-150, (I get-em back later in the story. he,he) 700miles and 9.75 hours later I'm in plantation FL. 78F and sunny, NICE!!

Get my work done around friday night 11pm ish. Venture on over to Jason's place and proced to help out the taking down of all 4.5 cases that Craig purchased for the FD install, slated to start Sat. After consuming some star spangled banner flapjacks (Dennys) we crash late. Sat morning started with beers, breaking of wind and tools. We had the FD in our hands (still warm from the drive over) all in all went very smoothly.

After lunch, slurpies, dinner we were done and started the test drives. We-dod-did racing was fully in effect, after the motor blew up we figured to call it a night. I decided to head home around 11am Sunday morning after crashing Craigs Phat *** crib. arrived 8pm ish. Was 86 when I left 34 went I arrived back in "cold as a witches tit" NC.

Some things learned from the trip:

CW R's make perfect vises!!!!
Matt's tool box it the total chit!
Dave smokes too much.
Jason is a slacker.
Craig is cool as chit, even after his $24,000 car blows up.
I can drink for 24 hours without water and not puke.
Jason's recycle truck will be full of glass
FL is flat and boring, unless you like drag racing.
F-150's will not go into reverse at 35mph
F-150's do not like being in 2nd gear from Jacksonville to Savanna.
F-150's pull great, smokey U-turns.
F-150's can not pull trees out of a neighbor yard with just rope. (chain are needed)
F-150's get crappy mileage when you use the gas pedal in a binary fashion.
F-150's are very high geared...then you realize there is an overdrive button.
F-150's WILL not do over 115mph
F-150's knock on 87 octane.
F-150's rev limiter is at 5500 and only 4500 in "N"
F-150's will drift in the rain
F-150's ABS system makes alot lot of noise with frequent usage.

Yea I owe you guys a night at the strip club. We were planing on going, but the bad noises my engine was making kind of killed the mood.

We would have made a number of trips to sears if D did not bring that bastard.

It did not blow up, it just makes a kewl clunk noise every rotation

Don't ever try to keep up with Jack, you will die.

Even better with 3 guys in the back.


Anytime you guys want to come again you are more then welcome. Hopefully the engine will be covered under warrenty, other wise you all want to come down for a bottom end rebuild

Fun weekend, I did smoke WAAAYYYYY too much, threw that second pack (with ~12 cigs in it) out the window on i75 around ft meyers..

PS Jack. Chain was located the next day and the hummer was used to IDLE the tree out to the road.

glad you made it home alright, but you missed some good chit on Sunday...ripping trees out w/ the Hummer, dropping the tranny 2 or 3 more times...making the car stock again....
