Default Fidanza flywheel

I am currently looking to buy a light weight FW. I did a search and there are many good comments about the Fidanza flywheel. Unfortunately I never heard of Fidanza (I am a newbie). Can someone tell me something about this company (Japanese company?)?
Also, how light is this FW? How many bolts it has holding the iron friction surface to the aluminum carrier? And most importantly, whih shop carries them and how much?
Thanks in advance

They are like Chevy, Ford, and Acura 3.2TL's.. all made in the USA.

8lbs. I think

Fidanza rocks.

I forgot where I read it but is Clutch Master aluminum FW is the same as Fidanza FW?
Do I need new pressure plate if I decided to go with the Fidanza?
I would like to stay with my OEM clutch disc (my car only has 3000 km), is it ok?
Thanks in advane!

if your existing clutch is still good, then keep it if you like.

it is more cost effective to change the clutch and flywheel at the same time
due to the cost of labor

Unless you are doing it yourself.

We pulled a tranny in 30 minutes this weekend (3 people), that's total time from jacking up the car to the tranny sitting on the ground and us looking at the pp/clutch/fw.

Being one of Fidanzas largest import dealers I must say I am very happy with thier product line. We have put their flywheels in almost any car that comes into the shop for a clutch and everyone has had awesome reviews. The quality is great and I haven't seen many if any problems with thier quality. The price is usually right too, a little less than JUN and Toda.

There must be a difference. Fidanza is ~$400 while cm is ~$280.

holy smokes! I guess I got lucky. My Fidanza cost me like $200+shipping about a year ago. Someone did a groupbuy on one of the boards. $400 sounds pretty pricey.

Maybe I can setup a groupbuy for you guys I know what deals I can push but it would have to be a one time only deal and I would have to have some good interest. AT LEAST 5, but 10 would be really nice. See waht type of response I can get and I'll let ya know what I can do. Prolly not 200 but I think 300-350 is acomplishable no problem.
