Yeah, it cost $200, but he's getting it back. They were taking up a collection to give him the $200, but Philly SCCA said they would foot the bill since his site has become their official site. It should be back up very shortly.

Look me up - I will be the Asian guy with spiked hair, in a 2000 electron Blue Pearl Civic Si with prolly lots of magnets on - cause you know extra weight will keep the car cornered better

Jiminy Crickets! Do you have any more details on why it was that much? Did he let the registration lapse, and someone else snatched it up? Am I out of touch thinking it's supposed to be about $50/year?

Just curious..

There was some confusion in emails and the company sold the address before Perry knew what happened. So he is prolly going to buy it back with the Philly Region's help - since they practically are on the website.

Perry had some issue with the host and they treated it like he didn't pay to renew it. Somebody bought it out from under him and has intentions to auction it off. Perry is guessing that it will cost about $200 to win the auction.

Matt

P.S. Weather looks good, so keep your eyes out for a maroon 67 Vette.

are you on drugs? I would need a plow to follow me around the course to pick up all of the parts that fall off. It's a beautiful car, it just wasn't made very well.

Wouldn't it be fair to say that you'll be the "asian guy who HAD spiked hair prior to putting on the helmet"? I'm thinkin' spikes don't like helmets all that well. At least, I tried it once and it didn't work out so well.

I think that I am most definately going on Saturday. My parents are making me rent a dolley for the day. Not a bad idea ya know, just in case anything goes wrong. I will probably be on the road by 6:00 am. I might be with a couple friends. I can't wait. This is going to be fun!

later,

aj

Rent a dolley? What's that?

I'll be there with my video camera and digi camera Maybe get some good pics.

AJ - just be aware that once you start autocrossing you might have to seek professional help cause it's very addicting

Cool, because if there is one thing that SCCA needs, it's more devil chickens!
