Engine Management questions
I have an H22A1 i am building with mahle 11.5:1 oversize pistons and eagle rods. I am using stage 3 crower camshafts and crower valves and dual springs and retainers. I am making and induvidual throttle body set-up and eliminating the balance shafts as well. All i have as far as fuel managment right now is an apexi V-AFC, I know i will need more than this but i am wondering what you guys might recomend as a good tuning system. I am not looking to go all out and buy an AEM EMS but I am willing to spend around 600-700$. Let me know what products you guys have had success with and where to buy them at. thanks so much for me out!

If you are OBDI, most people would recommend tuning with Hondata, or Uberdata. If you arent OBDI you should buy the conversion harness, and tune with one of those two. (Im guessing that you are OBDI since your name is H22A1, which is fourth gen)
so would you recomend an s200 system? and then i would also need datalogging capability so i could tune it myself and possibly even the ROM editor V3 so that i could tuen the system through the computor if the local dyno does not already have this available.
So i am looking at about 295+250 so roughly 600 to 700 dollars after i run it on the dyno right? would you say this is right? i have never done this before so i have no idea how to tune if it is easy or what to do once i get there, i mean wont i need a wideband O2 sensor? thank you for taking the time to answer my first questions please try and help me on these.

if your gonna be running ITB's i would rather get AEM EMS. You can find them used sometimes for like 600-700 bux.
ITB's take a lot of tuning and i think only standalone would do it the best.

i have a V-AFC, and its great, wen its tuned.. u can select points on ur RPM band, which u can manually adjust the fuel flow, increasing it or decreasing it as needed. for more info, search on it, lots of threads dedicated to the V-AFC
