Default ITRs with Mugen Intake...

all in all, a very painful experience with trying to squeeze that sucker into place and trying to figure out the diagram for the plate... I just had some general questions and searched already and didn't find much...

Did anybody else bother installing that metal plate? I'm not even sure if its hung correctly right now? Only found one pic of it from an old thread and I think mine looked about the same...

Do I have to keep my AC lines ziptied up or should I just cut em off? Should I be worried about refridgerant leaks?

Is it me or does the intake seem quieter than stock, definitely alot quieter than my old AEM CAI.

i got a RHD itr so i had no problems with a/c
yeah the silver plate is in the same position as deifined in the instruction manual, it is much easily seen if you take ur bumper off, i couldn't be bothered so i just jacked up the car and took off the mud guard to install the whole thing
much harder to fit your hands in though...

under vtec the air box sounds slightly meaner than the stock box, and when about 30% throttle is applied there is a slight whistle.

sounds quite mean in VTEC but not to the point where noise takes over the exhaust, i have a mugen twin loop which is quite quiet

none the less a great CAI but really over priced

Much more quiet than the AEM but noticably louder than stock.
