My starter on my 94's GSR is going bad, to the point where i have to try a few times to start it.

Well, I have a replacement starter, so that isnt a problem.

But i wanted to know, what other problems can a bad starter cause?

 

Anyone?

what exactly do you mean by that?? it cranks a while before starting or just clicks then starts cranking

starters are simple. your car either starts/cranks or doesnt

 

It just clicks before starting, sometimes it wont start, so i just keep trying. Then i bang the starter and it works.

I am just trying to find a reason why my motor isnt pulling as hard as it used to...After i blew my distribuitor on it last weekend, and replaced it, it doesnt feel as strong, i even did spark plugs/oil. Maybe my timing is off?
