can anyone please help me...everything is in place...and my motor still wont start...wat all do i need to do still...will the gsr motor harness work for the cx...where can i get a hold of diagrams for wiring conversions '95 gsr into the hatchback cx...thank you...

 

What ECU are you using ? Wire harness ? Do you have spark and fuel ? You need to help us to help you. Just asking why it won't start is pretty vague.

 

I also have this combination, no probs installing with the stock cx harness, but I believe the gsr harness should work as well, oh yeah with the cx harness you have to add a few wires. vtec, butterflies, knock etc.

 

im using a gsr ecu and harness...i do have fuel and sparks...i've changed out distributors plenty of times...and still my cx doesnt have fire or want to start...the car does crank...but wont give life... ...i do thank you for helping...

Even though you are using the GSR harness, you still need to add wiring on the chassis side for the VTEC solenoid, VTEC pressure switch, Knock sensor, IAB, and 4 wire O2. Even if you haven't done any of this wiring the car should still start up and run. Check your grounds, check the timing, look over the harness and make sure everything is plugged in properly. Are you getting a CEL after trying to start it?
