i dont really know much but i do believe that yes an ls transmission is better for turbo cuz of it's long gearing. also i heard putting in an ls final drive in a gs-r tranny helps.
as far as clutch goes i would say first look at how much power your looking to make and then get a clutch that can take that power. hope that helps
Search is your frined i know this topic has been covered.

I have the Phantom Grip LSD. It does what it needs to do, but I haven't been able to compare to an Integra with Quaife or Kaaz LSD.
If you have a GSR, you can use stock cams. That's what I'm doing. You can probably keep stock cams for an LS too.

Unless you plan on boosting the living hell out of the motor, stock cams will suffice.
The Phantom Grip is somewhat effective in some situations, however it's far from capable when compared to the Quaife or even the OEM LSD's.
Regarding clutches, everyone has their opinion of what they like. For most low boost applications, a stock clutch will hold well enough, but an upgraded clutch from any reputable company won't hurt. I personally prefer Exedy when it comes to off the shelf clutches.
The LS tranny debate is a long one, however time and again, people achieve faster acceleration and better ET's with closer ratio tranny's. The LS tranny will only really be beneficial if you are making so much power that the time it takes you to shift between the gears on a closer ratio tranny is longer than the slower acceleration of the LS tranny. Don't expect that to happen until you hit about 500 whp.

STOCK cams. Don't bother changing them. You can make a lot of power with stock cams on all the B series motors.
What car do you have, anyway?
Action clutches are OK. Others like Exedy and ACT.
With a turbo, your powerband is wider, the transmission gearing doesn't NEED to be as close as a high-revving N/A motor. Tranny should be the last thing (unless you have an Auto, that's another story)
Good luck, TUNE that bitch (don't use blue box, if you get the E-Manage have it dyno tuned. Hondata or Uberdata is a better route). Greddy is a pretty nice kit. Don't go crazy with the boost/power and your stock internals should last a while.
