brake light problems

Default brake light problems

my driver side brake light does not work when i push the brake pedal when my lights are on, it lights up but does not get brighter when i push the pedal, when my lights are not on it works, i have changed the bulb
any ideas?

defective/incorrect bulb, or a bad ground. Not much else it can be. Try taking the bulb from the other side, and putting it in. Does the problem repeat itself? If no, then it's a bulb problem. If the yes, then it's most likely a bad ground in your light circuit.

yeap. the contacts in the bulb socket could be bad. multi meters are your friends!
