Default Dyno videos of 250whp all motor FROG

here are the videos I promised you guys from the dyno a couple weeks ago ... finally figured out how to download videos from camera LOL.
This is with the bent valves in the head with 20 % leakage and all endyn motor specs. No cam gear tuning just clean a/f curve (fat arond 12.9s), JG Victor X manifold and Apex 2-3/8" exhaust.

Greg

This is of the engine by the intake side ...

this is of the master tuner Ralphy at DRT doing his thing ...

can you explain the 4th gear pulls? the ratios aren't that true are they.
I mean you can dyno a car in 3rd gear and make xxx power then in 4th and you will make more due to the ratio differences.

Dyno in 4th as apposed to 3rd wil net you less whp as the ratio is closer to 1-1.

Great vids!

Now we need the dyno chart.....

and you need some new motor mounts or at least some inserts! The motor leans back....leans back...leans back......

I didn;t have a CD to copy the dyno files when I was there, I did have a printout but no scanner (no Visioneer Paperport 3100USB driver for Win 2000) ... so I took a pic of the printout with my phone LOL, I know its not clear but its the best I can do for now:

I'll try to get some stiff mounts, there are no front tranny mounts and a/c brackets on the motor .. I only used Home Depot polyurethane and filled the stock mounts and one energy suspension insert for the rear mount.

LOL whassup dave, I usually use your EMS but this time I was testing out one of Endyn's EMS computers to ensure that it works cause they had problems using it on their engine dyno harness ...

LOL yeah you should see the rest of the video, although Rated R for language content LOL ... I like it when Ralphy is there, he does all the tuning, I just sit back and relax and joke around with the rest of the guys ... he's an A1 tuner, thats for sure ... one of the original pioneers of import racing ... he was the one that owned the Fast and the Furious line "I live my life a quarter mile at a time" ...

sorry for the lack of details ... I lost the link to the old post which was titled 92mm b-series allmotor buildup ...
- custom Endyn rollerwave pistons in 84.5mm bore
- 92mm Crower crank
- 0.137" Eagle LS longrod to use with 92mm crank and Endyn custom production piston
- JUN 3 cams
- compression around high 12's/low 13's
- ported head with bent valves (we're awaiting Endyn's head to return which will have their custom proprietary porting done for this setup ... so we decided not to waste time fixing this head until the new one arrives.
- AEM EMS 30-1000
- MSD 6AL ignition
- Apex WS exhaust
- fake J's intake and ebay iceman headlight scoop ... blended together

yo Max, dang dude mad ol' skool ... yeah frog is back in all motor form ... hope to terrorize NJ/NY LOL ... I'm gunning for those times you guys are running, but with the old cage and no rear interior we can't get the car to weight less than 2310 lbs with me (220 lbs) ... we're trying to figure out what to take out from under the dash and maybe from the doors to get it to at least 2000-2100 lbs ... this thing is just too heavy.

We only dyno'd in 4th because in 3rd the tires were hopelessly spinning on the dyno ... we managed to get it to not spin in 4th ... I tell you one thing for such a heavy loaded gear this thing revs up real quick ...
LOL I need to take videos of me driving it in the street when this stupid snow melts ...
hope englishtown opens up this weekend against the domestics ... we'll run it on street tires.

Will keep everyone posted, this is a really nice project ...

Yep 4th gear is generally considered "Direct Drive" or a 1:1 ratio where the input and output shafts become locked together...btw sick car.
