How would you Clean This/whats causeing it???

Default How would you Clean This/whats causing it???

i tried to clean it a couple of times with engine decreaser what that doesnt really help. what else could i use. does anyone have any idea how to clean that up and or how to fix it to prevent it from happening again

try carb cleaner, i got rid of all that gunk with a can.

hot tank

let the engine warm up a bit turn it off shrink wrap all the elec. **** and sprak engine degreaser..worked ok on my teg...I need to do it again after all this rain and ****

simple green and a soft brush. hell or just get a rag with car wash

check your cam seal.. and valve cover gasket.. looks like they're leaking

i use brake cleaner brake cleaner works wonders.

brake cleaner worked awesome. thanx guys.ill post a pic of it tomorrow.so you can see the difference

Laquer Thinner will remove any and all grease, but will turn your paint into water.

How much does the dealership charge to change cam seals? Also I've seen the billet cam seals with 2 o rings. are they really any better than oem?

yes.. the billet cam seals are a lot better. oem ones crack and just do it yourself. check my thread: https://honda-tech.com/zero...age=2
