Default Clean Engine?

Anyone have any tips on how to clean your engine?

By this, I mean everything under the hood... hoses, tanks, etc.

Also, tips on KEEPING it clean once you're finished?

Try picking up a can of "gunk" from your local auto parts store. Some people will tell you to use simple green because its more "enviorment friendly" but i personally haven't tried simple green. If that, get the non diluted simple green. If you want better answers try looking in the "appearance and cosmetics" forum.
