What's The Sports Button For?
making the transmission shift later causes the car to stay in a lower gear for longer getting more acceleration before shifting.
its better on sports when trying to get on the interstate in the acceleration lane. also nice when leaving some A**hole in his mustang at a stop sign. but this decreases your gas mileage.

Sort of along the same line...
does anyone have the wiring spec that indicates where the sport button is pinned for a JDM H22 Auto on the JDM TCU? Both the auto trannies I have came with the shifters cut, there's no way for me to trace the button to the TCU and there's no documentation on this because no Auto USDM H22s ever had the sport button.
Help appreciated
