Second Creek Raceway Satellite Image
So, I'm a little bored today and my mind has been wandering to getting out to the track again in a couple of weeks. The local track near Denver is Second Creek Raceway (http://www.2ndcreekraceway.com/) - I decided to check it out a bit closer using NASA's satellite technology:

My plan is to hit the track at least once a month this year. First day out there will be the 17th...
1.7 Miles, 10 turns

OT: It reminds me of this other website that if you typed in your address it would search through a list of satellite imagery archives and find your house.
Scary thought... *Shivers*

It's still around. http://www.globexplorer.com/ for example is still free. I remember seeing a better one somewhere....

Now for the million dollar question. Who can tell me which direction does the track run, and what evidence in the photo supports your answer? No cheating (track website probably tells you whether it's cw or ccw).

the placement of the jersey barriers and or armco / tires / design of pit road = CW (i guess)

What else points to track direction?

Braking zones show up in the rubber.
Start finish at the end of a long straight seems to make sense too.

Hmm, I can see heavier rubber in the brake zone of the corner at pit-out, but I don't really see braking zones as clearly at other corners.
I also see: the rubber "line" hits apexes that can only make sense going cw (e.g., it's not possible to hit the apex at the 'kink' at the bottom right of the pic and hug the apex curbing when you're going 100+mph at the end of the straightaway). I also see all corner stations (except at pit out) are even with or past the apex of each corner (most trouble happens after the apex).
Anything else?

j00 blind.
Couple corners with straights: top right corner, Sharpest U turn in middle-left of picture. Track out is a cloud, but braking zone is all in one place.
I saw the corner workers too, the one by start-finish threw me off.
I'm looking for track-out and mid-corner marks where people have gone off... I can see examples of both I think so that's not giving me a clue.
